چکیده
We consider the motion of a non relativistic quantum particle in R 3 subject to n point interactions which are moving on given smooth trajec-tories. Due to the singular character of the time-dependent interaction, the corresponding Schrödinger equation does not have solutions in a strong sense and, moreover, standard perturbation techniques cannot be used. Here we prove that, for smooth initial data, there is a unique weak solution by reducing the problem to the solution of a Volterra integral equation involving only the time variable. It is also shown that the evolution operator uniquely extends to a unitary operator in L 2 (R 3).

The flux-across-surfaces theorem establishes a fundamental relation in quantum scattering theory between the asymptotic outgoing state and a quantity which is directly measured in experiments. We prove it for a hamil-tonian with a point interaction, using the explicit expression for the propaga-tor. The proof requires only assuptions on the initial state and it covers also the case of zero-ener...

We consider two types of quotients of the integrable modules of sl2. These spaces of coinvariants have dimensions described in terms of the Verlinde algebra of level-k. We describe monomial bases for the spaces of coinvariants, which leads to a fermionic description of these spaces. For k = 1, we give the explicit formulas for the characters. We also present recursion relations satisfied by the...

The symmetry properties of the family of δ ′-interactions with a resonant non-zero transparency resulting in non-separated states are discussed. It is shown that the connection matrix for these physically motivated interactions and the corresponding family of self-adjoint extensions can be constructed in a self-consistent way if the product δ ′ (x)ψ(x), where ψ(x) is a discontinuous wavefunctio...

We discuss the calculation of electric and magnetic screening masses in SU(2) gauge theory. The temperature dependence of these masses obtained from the long-distance behaviour of spatial correlation functions has been analyzed for temperatures up to 10 4 Tc.

We consider maps between Riemannian manifolds in which the map is a stationary point of the nonlinear Hodge energy. The variational equations of this functional form a quasilinear, nondiagonal, nonuniformly elliptic system which models certain kinds of compressible flow. Conditions are found under which singular sets of prescribed dimension cannot occur. Continuity results are given for the tra...
